This morning, Ruth from Sports Reach came and did an assembly all about the Sports Reach Soccer and Netball school in May half term. She talked and showed us a video about what we might be able to do there and how they tried to incorporate Jesus as well as doing your sport. She also showed us what we might get if we went to Sports Reach. At the end of the assembly, Ruth chose five girls and five boys to do an over and under race, which was really fun! We loved having Ruth in school today! #Loving

Bel loved he netball last year! we’re away this year so she can’t go but wanted to go again
Well done to our Year 5 and 6 netball team who took part in a netball tournament at Moorside this afternoon. They played very well against some difficult opposition and showed great team spirit. We were very proud of the whole team. Thank you to all of the parents who came to support us and to Louise, who has been coaching the children at netball club. #Loving #living

Learning
We had lots of fun exploring capacity in our maths today. We ordered bottles into size and estimated the volume of each bottle using the vocabulary millilitres and litres. We worked so well together and most of the water stayed in the bottles! #beech #learning
