Run-a-Thon

Wow! What an amazing afternoon we’ve had at school. We had perfect weather conditions for our Run-a-Thon which we held to celebrate the launch of our fantastic, new running track.

We were joined by a number of parents and family members and we started with a whole school warm up on the playground.

A huge thank you to Aaron Wildig from Morecambe Football Club who came to school as a celebrity guest to officially open the running track.

We are so proud of all of our children who threw themselves into the event and tried their very hardest to run as many laps as possible. Their encouraging spirit was also extremely impressive – every child was cheered, clapped and high-fived as they ran.

Well done everybody – you all did so well. And now for the thank yous!

To Mrs Cross – for being our wonderful MC as always.

To our parents and family members for coming along and supporting us.

To the Friends of Ellel for serving refreshments and for so kindly agreeing to match fund what we raise at the Run-a-Thon. We will announce our grand total once we know the final figure.
