FOREST SCHOOL ACCREDITATION

Forest School is a long-term process of frequent and regular sessions in a woodland or natural environment, rather than a one-off visit. Planning, adaptation, observation and reviewing are integral elements of Forest School.’     Forest School Principle 1

We were delighted to receive accreditation from the Forest School Association for our provision here at Ellel. Although Forest School is happening every week and every child has the opportunity to spend a six week block partaking in Forest School experiences each year we don’t quite qualify for the full provider status.

I am delighted that the experience our children have has been recognised nationally and our thanks go to Ms Singleton for driving and creating this great space and activity in our school and to Mr Cross for taking it forwards.

It’s fabulous! Jenny loves forest school. Thankyou for bringing this to the school. It’s great the children can experience learning outdoors and in such a great space.
